Where Trading 212 shows your dividends

Dividends you have received

History covers dividends paid into your Invest and Stocks and Shares ISA accounts. You can look at one holding or the whole portfolio, and each payment shows the gross amount, any tax withheld and the net.

Exporting them

  1. In the mobile app, open the menu and go to History.
  2. Tap the export button.
  3. Pick a timeframe and choose dividends.
  4. Trading 212 produces a CSV file you can open in a spreadsheet.

What it leaves out

  • A calendar of upcoming dividends across your portfolio. Users have asked Trading 212 for one.
  • Your dividend income from ISA, Invest and SIPP in one view.
  • Any sign that a company might cut its dividend.

See every Trading 212 dividend in one place

  1. In Trading 212, go to Settings, then API (Beta), and create an API key with read-only permissions.
  2. Paste it into DividendMapper and say whether it is your ISA or your Invest account. Each account connects with its own key.
  3. Your holdings and dividend history come across, and the calendar shows the payments expected over the next twelve months.

Trading 212 sync is a Pro feature, included in the free trial. Trading 212's API does not cover SIPP accounts yet, so add SIPP holdings by hand or with a CSV import.

Dividend safety, tested

Which of your dividends are at risk

Every holding gets three scores.

Quality
How well placed the company is to keep growing its dividend.
Risk
How likely the dividend is to be cut in the next year. Higher means more likely.
Trim
Whether the share price has run well ahead of its usual valuation.

We tested the Risk score against 4,184 real dividend cuts. In those tests the average dividend payer cut about 1 in 5 times a year, and holdings scoring 90 and over cut about 1 in 2. On Pro you choose a Risk level, and we email you when a holding crosses it.

Trading 212 dividend questions

Does Trading 212 pay dividends?

Yes. Shares and ETFs held in a Trading 212 Invest or Stocks and Shares ISA account pay dividends on the payment date. Fractional shares are paid pro rata. The payment reaches you in your account currency with no FX fee, after any withholding tax.

Can I reinvest my Trading 212 dividends?

Automatically, only inside Pies. Trading 212's dividend reinvestment is on by default for a Pie, and you switch it from the settings icon in that Pie's Dividends section. Dividends from shares held outside a Pie land as cash for you to reinvest yourself.

Does it work with a Trading 212 SIPP?

Not by sync yet. Trading 212's API does not cover SIPP accounts, only Invest and Stocks and Shares ISA. You can still add SIPP holdings to DividendMapper by hand or with a CSV import.

Is my Trading 212 account safe to connect?

You create the API key yourself in Trading 212 and can give it read-only permissions, so DividendMapper can read your holdings and dividends but not place orders. You can delete the key in Trading 212 whenever you like.

Is this financial advice?

No. The scores screen the income you already hold for risk. They do not recommend buying or selling anything, so do your own research.

What happens when the trial ends?

Your account moves to the Free plan. Trading 212 sync pauses, CSV import keeps working, and Free covers up to 25 holdings; any beyond that are archived. There is no card to cancel.
